How Are Small Glass Bottles Formed During Manufacturing?

From the video on the left, you can clearly see how small glass bottles are formed during the manufacturing process. In fact, the forming process is very similar to that of standard-sized glass bottles. However, producing small glass bottles requires much higher precision, stricter process control, and more advanced manufacturing technology.

At our factory, small glass bottles are mainly produced for the perfume, spirits, premium liquor and premium soft drink industries. These bottles are typically made from extra flint glass, a high-quality material that offers exceptional clarity, brilliant transparency, and excellent durability. Generally, we classify bottles with a capacity of less than 100 ml as small glass bottles. Although the forming process is similar to that of larger bottles, the smaller size demands much tighter manufacturing tolerances. Even tiny deviations in dimensions can affect the sealing performance, appearance, or filling process.

The quality inspection process is also much more rigorous. In addition to the forming machines, the automatic inspection equipment used for small glass bottles is specially designed to detect even the smallest defects, including dimensional variations, wall thickness, finish quality, and cosmetic imperfections. From the bottle mouth to the bottom of the bottle, including scratches, bubbles, verticality, etc., We preset the datas in the machines, when the glass bottles came, then the cameral could scan all the dedails, if reached the requests, finally let them go. In a world, we do the glass bottle quality chekcing based on the datas driven, but not by manhand.Totally, we have got 25 sets K-270A automatical checking machines and 20 sets EBI automatical camera for glass bottles Quality Checking,we have confidence to make our customers glass bottles with perfect quality.

Annealing Process for Stress Relief

Visual and automated defect inspection

After forming and annealing, the glass bottles undergo a thorough visual inspection to check for defects such as bubbles, cracks or surface flaws and determine the location of the defects. Timely adjustment of the image and infrared automated inspection parts to accurately screen out defective products. At the same time, it is passed to the production molding process for timely adjustment and timely resolution. Skilled inspectors will meticulously check each bottle to ensure that it meets quality standards before it can enter the next stage of production.

Surface Treatment

Surface treatment processes such as fire polishing, hot end spraying and cold end spraying are performed precisely to avoid scratches and improve the appearance of the glass bottle.
