What is the difference between high flint glass bottles and common flint glass bottles?

As a glass factory with more than 20 years of experience in the glass industry, we would like to let you know that the differences can mainly be understood from four aspects.The first aspect is the material.For high flint glass bottles, the percentage of Fe₂O₃ is very low, usually less than 0.06%. In addition, the quartz sand used is of very high purity, with very little or even no recyclable glass added during production.Regarding common flint glass bottles, conversely, the percentage of Fe₂O₃ is relatively higher, usually between 0.1% and 0.3%. The quartz sand is of normal purity, and a larger amount of recyclable glass is commonly used.The second aspect is the appearance.For high flint glass bottles, the glass is extremely clear and transparent. You can hardly see any green tint on the bottle. The color looks very white and bright, with an excellent glossy finish. Regarding common flint glass bottles, conversely, you can usually notice a slight green color around the edge of the bottle. The glass is not white enough, and the gloss is comparatively ordinary.The third aspect is the light transmittance.For high flint glass bottles, the transmittance is generally above 90%, while for common flint glass bottles, it is usually between 70% and 89%.The fourth aspect is the performance.For high flint glass bottles, they generally have better impact resistance, can withstand temperature differences of around 70–80°C, and feature a smoother surface, which provides better printing, frosting, and hot stamping effects.Regarding common flint glass bottles, conversely, they have moderate impact resistance, can withstand temperature differences of up to 80°C, and are easier to process during production.
