Production Process of Glass Food Jars
To make glass packaging, silica sand, soda ash, limestone, and crushed materials are poured into a furnace heated to 1500°C to form molten glass. After the melting stage, the glass becomes inhomogeneous and contains many bubbles. To remove these bubbles, the glass needs to be refined, that is, the glass is heated to a higher temperature, then to 1250 ° C, to obtain the ideal glass viscosity. Then, the liquid glass is fed into channels that deliver the glass to the molding machine at the ideal temperature and viscosity to form the final packaging. The glass is poured into the blank mold in the form of a drop (called a parison) and then poured into the finishing mold. This drop of glass can undergo two processes: pressing or blowing.

The pressure blowing technology consists of pressing the glass drop into a blank with a piston, and then injecting an air flow into the preform obtained in advance to shape the product. This technology is the preferred technology for making glass jars. The second technology is blow molding, in which the drop is compressed and then pierced. After the first blow molding, the preform is produced and the bottleneck is formed. Another air flow is injected into the final mold to shape the package. This method is the preferred method for making bottles.

Next comes the annealing stage. The molded product is heated in a firing arc and gradually cooled to about 570°C to enhance the strength of the glass. Finally, the glass jars are grouped and packaged to ensure their safety.
