Glass bottle surface treatment technology – glass bottle coating
Leave a message
The surface condition, composition and structure of glass bottles and their internal composition; structure are very different. The surface properties of glass bottles have a great influence on their main properties. The chemical stability of glass actually depends on the chemical stability. The chemical stability of the glass surface actually depends on the chemical stability of the surface. The mechanical strength and impact resistance of the glass also depend on the morphology and structure of the glass surface. This depends largely on the shape and structure of the glass surface.
The purpose of surface treatment of glass bottles is to change the chemical stability of the container surface and eliminate damage to the glass surface, thereby achieving the purpose of enhancement. The main methods are to add coating, physical strengthening, chemical strengthening, etc. during bottle making. Reinforcement, surface acid treatment, plastic coating and other methods.
Here we mainly introduce glass bottle coating
1. Hot coating.
Thermal coating is performed after the glass bottle is formed and before annealing. After the glass bottle is formed, it is slowly cooled to 500-600°C, and a layer of metal coating (such as tin oxide, titanium oxide, tin chloride, etc.) is sprayed on the surface of the glass bottle. 2. Cold coating.
Cold plating is performed after the glass bottle is annealed. Spray monostearate, polyethylene, oleic acid, silane, silicone or other polymer emulsion into mist, and adhere to the surface of a glass bottle at a certain temperature (the temperature inside the bottle depends on the spray material, about 21 to 80°C) .Form a protective layer with wear resistance and lubricity.
