Why must perfume be put in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles

[[InfoAuthor]]

Perfume is usually put in glass bottles. It is best not to store perfume in plastic bottles, as perfume contains alcohol. Plastic bottles are mostly made of polyethylene plastic and PET. If polyethylene is used in plastic bottles, polyethylene can be dissolved in alcohol over time, affecting the fragrance of the perfume.

In severe cases, it can also cause skin allergies. PET is a new type of high-molecular polyester material, but after being stored for too long, the alcohol will gradually evaporate, react with plastic, and the perfume will also deteriorate.

Taboos for use:

1. Do not use too much
Perfume is not more attractive the more it is used. Spraying too much perfume will only backfire. It will not only irritate the nose, but also leave a vain and self-admiring impression on people. Therefore, perfume must be used in moderation.

2. Do not spray on exposed parts that are easily exposed to the sun
Some of the fragrances in perfume are volatile oils extracted from natural plants. If sprayed on the face or parts that are easily exposed to the sun, the long-wave ultraviolet rays in the sun will combine with these chemicals sprayed on the skin, resulting in photochemical reactions, which will eventually lead to skin inflammation and dark spots on the face.

3. Do not spray on parts that are prone to sweating
Perfume should not be sprayed on the forehead, underarms and other parts that are prone to sweating, especially in summer, when sweating too much will dilute the perfume. Moreover, the mixture of sweat and perfume will produce a strange smell.
