Is it really feasible to grow plants in glass jars?

Planting in glass jars is not only for fun, but also for ornamental purposes. Although it is not very conducive to the healthy growth of plants, it is necessary to choose some plants that do not require much watering.
There are actually two different types of glass bottles:
1. Open glass bottle
The common wide-mouth glass bottle is more common in life. It can provide relatively good air circulation for plants and is suitable for planting various cacti and succulents.
2. Semi-closed glass bottle
This airtight or semi-airtight glass bottle has a relatively low air circulation. The bottle has its own ecosystem and has sufficient humidity to grow some plants that require high humidity, such as micro ferns.
Tips for growing glass bottles:
1. Select slow-growing plants, usually do not need to prune, and plants that cannot grow quickly can be suitable.
2. If more than 2 kinds of plants are planted in the glass bottle, then their growth environment must be similar, and the seedlings with simple plants are selected for transplanting.
3. The glass bottle should be disinfected and washed before planting. The transparent container is also easier to observe the state of the plant.
4. Before adding potting soil to the plants, now put a layer of 3-4 cm small gravel or pebbles at the bottom of the pot, and then lay some activated charcoal, bamboo charcoal, and then a layer of coarse sand on the upper layer, and then lay the potting soil. (So laying media, they must be very good drainage)
5. Make sure that the plants are not too crowded. There should be an appropriate spacing between each plant, and it should be placed in a shaded and ventilated place when it is just planted.
